The medical center offers free parking on the grounds. Handicap, visitor, and general parking lots are clearly marked, with the areas closest to the entrances reserved for handicapped parking. For your convenience, parking lot shuttle service is available Monday through Friday, except federal holidays, from 8:00am through 4:00pm. Please refer to our parking plan for a detailed map of parking locations at the medical center. Please allow ample time to find parking, as parking is limited.

TARC Bus Transportation
The Louisville VA Medical Center is located on the TARC* bus line. The bus stop and bus schedules are located adjacent to the Clinic Entrance.
DAV Transportation Program
The Louisville VA Medical Center offers free transportation to the medical center & healthcare centers from select areas of our region. For more information please see our DAV Transportation page.
Security
The Louisville VAMC Police Officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial (502) 287-5255. In case of an emergency, dial 911. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.
