New VA Reports & Appendixes
On October 27, 2016, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) published, in the Federal Register, the Notice of Availability (NOA) of a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a Replacement VA Medical Center and Veterans Benefits Administration regional office in Louisville, Kentucky. The NOA indicated the VA would accept comments until December 12, 2016. VA has received several requests from stakeholders for additional time to review and analyze the document due to its size and the controversy surrounding the preferred alternative. After considering these requests, VA is extending the comment period for the Draft EIS by 30 days; from December 12, 2016 to January 11, 2017.
